ICFTN ANNUAL PRISM AWARDS

No doubt you will agree this has been a year for the history books.  As coaches, we help others become who they are meant to be, and the Prism Awards offer us the chance to recognize our colleagues who are becoming who they are meant to be!  Please participate in celebrating lives well lived and shared in 2020. Nominations will be accepted through October 31. Award recipients will be recognized during the December chapter meeting.

ICFTN NAVIGATOR PROGRAM

The navigator program is an opportunity for coaches to serve other coaches by sharing expertise and providing support. Navigator engagements consist of three 30-minute conversations. These interactions might focus on career, entrepreneurship or family, education, work-life balance, or any other topics the two parties agree on. Here’s how it works:

This program is designed to help our members build relationships, get needed resources, and pay it forward. Navigators will offer their time and identify their areas of expertise. Protégés will identify a need question or problem they have. The membership committee will pair Navigators with Proteges. They each sign terms of agreement and the pair will schedule and meet on their own from there.

From August 2020 Newsletter

GET CLEAR WITH COACHING - Coaches Needed!

As part of giving back to our community, our chapter has set a  goal of offering 100 pro bono coaching sessions the week of September 21 through the Get Clear with Coaching program. This program raises awareness about our profession throughout the community by offering individuals a one-time opportunity to experience coaching.

Right now, we have 13 coaches signed up, which means each coach will need to offer 7-8 sessions that week to meet our goal. Please consider volunteering your time to offer a few sessions - you pick the day(s), the time,  and how you want to coach (phone, videoconference, etc.). We’ll set you up in our scheduling program, and Individuals will sign up online to meet with the coach of their choice.

To participate in either program, you need to:

  • Have an ICF credential (ACC, PCC, or MCC) or have completed at least 60 hours of coach training that is ICF accredited or recognized or recognized by the International Coaching Community

  • Be a member of ICF-TN

  • Be a member of ICF Global or sign a commitment to uphold the ICF Global Code of Ethics

To volunteer, please complete the online form at https://icftn.org/form.php?form_id=20&c=1 by August 7 , and a member of the Outreach Committee will reach out to you by August 14 with more information.

Thank you in advance for helping promote coaching in our community.
