Coaching Through a Developmental Lens

Presented by Barbara Braham, Ph.D., MCC

Have you ever wondered why you seem to connect with some clients more easily than others? Have you ever asked yourself why a tool that one client loves, falls flat with another client? This program will introduce you to adult stages of development and what it means to “meet your client where s/he is.” The developmental framework will offer you ways to tailor your coaching interventions to a client’s stage.

This session will:

  • Introduce five most common stages of adult development

  • Identify coaching approaches and tools best suited for each stage

At the conclusion of this meeting you will:

  1. Know what it means to “meet your client where they are”

  2. Select the best tools and resources for each client

  3. Gain perspective on what differentiates successful client engagements from those that are a struggle and less successful

SPECIAL MEETING HIGHLIGHT:  This session will be a special presentation. Barbara will be presenting via Virtual Technology during our lunch at c3 Engine Room. This will be an interactive session so questions and open discussion will be encouraged. There will also be the opportunity to dial in and view the presentation remotely if you are not able to attend in person. Details will be provided after registration. When registering, please indicate if you plan to attend in person or virtually.
