About The Luncheon: Getting to the Crux of Client Issues In Less Time: An Experiential Introduction to Narrative Coaching | Friday, July 12, 2019 | 11:30am-1:00pm | nashville

Presented by David Drake, PhD.

The session will start with a simple experiential activity that incorporates the four core elements of a narrative coaching conversation. Each element is central to one of the four phases in the narrative coaching process and one of the four key outcomes clients are seeking.

David will then engage us in a conversation about each of these four elements and how they can enrich our practice. Taken together, they enable coaches to work with more ease and clients to get to the crux of their issue in less time. You will walk away with four frames to assess your own practice in terms of what to let go of and what to develop.

In this session you will:

  • Understand the four phases of narrative coaching and their link to client outcomes

  • Understand why getting to the crux of issues is vital to client progress

  • Understand how to apply this framework in assessing your coaching approach
