New Member Corner

Meet one of ICFTN's Newest Members: Andrea Poletto

What is the name of your company?
I don’t have a coaching company. I am currently the North America HR Director at AkzoNobel.

AkzoNobel has a passion for paint. We’re experts in the proud craft of making paints and coatings, setting the standard in color and protection since 1792. Our world class portfolio of brands – including Chemcraft, International, Sikkens and Interpon – is trusted by customers around the globe. Headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, we are active in over 150 countries and employ 34,500 talented people who are passionate about delivering the high-performance products and services our customers expect. In the United States we employ more than 2,600 associates to create and market sustainable, high performance coatings. Customers around the world use our trusted brands and products to protect everything from bridges and airplanes, to things that play an essential role in your daily lives, like kitchen cabinets and soda (pop) cans. We’re proud to support our local communities with funding and employee volunteers for a wide range of projects. Last year 300 employees participated in 12 projects in U.S. communities where we operate, logging over 1,000 volunteer hours.

Are you an independent coach or a coach within an organization?
I work as a coach within an organization focusing on Team Coaching by developing High Performance Teams. I am developing myself as a coach and do provide informal individual coaching on the job.

What area is the focus of your coaching business?
In the future I would like to focus on Team Coaching, Career Coaching in general and/or Coaching for HR Professionals. I will also be able to provide coaching in Portuguese & English…hopefully in Spanish & Italian in the near future! 😊

Is there anything else you would like us to know about you?
I am looking to connect with the professional coaching community to build my overall skills in coaching and network with the community.
