Dear fellow coaches,
As we head into the fourth quarter of 2020, we are starting to reflect on our organization and plan for a new year. While this year has presented a number of challenges, we are committed to finding the opportunities. In the next month or so, you’ll receive a survey designed to help us hear from our members. Please take a few moments to respond to help us shape our vision and strategy!
You continue to have access to high quality continuing education that helps you sharpen your coaching skills, encourage yourself, and earn continuing education credits. October is no different. We will soon be announcing a follow-up event to the Racial Competency presentation at September’s chapter meeting. We also have upcoming content on using metaphors in coaching, using storytelling, and change management. Keep up with the many opportunities available on our Events and Calendar pages.
At the September chapter meeting, the chapter approved the 2021 board slate. Meet them here. We thank these leaders for their willingness to contribute their time and skills to serve their peers.
Are you missing being together? The chapter has postponed in-person chapter meetings until 2021; however, we’ll be having a socially distanced networking event at Warner Park later this month. For those of you who feel comfortable attending, we eagerly look forward to being back together!
As always, our chapter exists to help you coach more, coach better, and make a living doing it.
Enjoy your fall!

ICFTN ANNUAL PRISM AWARDS
No doubt you will agree this has been a year for the history books. As coaches, we help others become who they are meant to be, and the Prism Awards offer us the chance to recognize our colleagues who are becoming who they are meant to be! Please participate in celebrating lives well lived and shared in 2020. Nominations will be accepted through October 31. Award recipients will be recognized during the December chapter meeting. Click here to read more and link to nominating forms.
ICFTN NAVIGATOR PROGRAM
The navigator program is an opportunity for coaches to serve other coaches by sharing expertise and providing support. Navigator engagements consist of three 30-minute conversations. These interactions might focus on career, entrepreneurship or family, education, work-life balance, or any other topics the two parties agree on. Click here to participate.
