What made you decide to be a coach?
I love counseling and therapy, but they often seem to miss an action-oriented emphasis. I believe that our behavior informs our beliefs as much as our beliefs inform our behavior. Thinking differently is imperative, but it is fruitless if it doesn't lead to doing differently. I found coaching unlocks the power of thinking and doing as avenues of transformation. After taking an executive coaching course in my master's in Human Development at Vanderbilt, I knew that's how I wanted to help the world: partnering with leaders who endeavor to transform work places, homes, and communities.
What is your area of interest?
Leadership, teams, conflict, spirituality, life transitions, time management, habits.
