Call to Action: Nominate deserving ICF-TN Members and Coach-supporting Organizations
Chapter Awards’ Call for Nominations Is Open through October 31. We look forward to recognizing your nominees and the award winners at the December ICFTN chapter meeting.
ICF-TN believes in recognizing our coaching community as well as corporations that support coaching. We honor special efforts via three Chapter Awards:
PRISM AWARD
The Prism Award honors businesses and organizations with coaching programs that fulfill rigorous professional standards, address key strategic goals, shape organizational culture, and yield discernible and measurable positive impacts. Brentwood Baptist Church received the 2018 award. To prompt your thinking in what company/organization you might nominate this year, here is excerpt from the nomination:
Brentwood Baptist Church designed an internal coaching and mentoring program through our Mentor Relationships ministry…Numerous volunteer hours of research and curriculum deign were poured into the formation of this ministry with an intentional alignment to the ICF Core Competencies…To date, Brentwood Baptist has trained and vetted 79 volunteer coaches, 24 of whom have completed the full certification process to receive their Certificate in Christian Leadership Coaching. Four of these coaches have the ACC level of certification through the International Coach Federation…
PAT WHITE CHAPTER SERVICE AWARD
Named after our esteemed founder, Pat White, MCC, we are searching for the member who has added to the chapter’s ability to achieve its vision and realize its mission by responding with exceptional resources to member and customer needs and expectations.
Anita Bailey received the 2018 Pat White Chapter Service Award. Here is excerpt from the nomination application:
Anita embodies the spirit and presence of a coach leader - consistency in her involvement and outcomes, commitment to the success of the chapter, willingness to accept feedback and adapt to changes in the needs of the Board and members, and demonstrating grace and kindness under all conditions. Anita is highly competent as a marketer and bringing a marketing point of view to the work we've done as a Board. Her contributions are numerous, including developing annual plans, adapting to ad hoc requests, assessing opportunities … while sustaining the maintenance of the day-to-day within marketing.
COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD
Given to a member who has used coaching skills to selflessly improve our community. This could also be an outstanding contribution or growth by a coach that does not fit the other categories.
This award was not given in 2018. We look forward to receiving nominations for the 2019 award.
