December Message from the President

Dear ICFTN Family,

As we approach the end of another remarkable year, I want to take a moment to reflect on our collective journey and express my heartfelt gratitude for everything we have accomplished together. It has been a year filled with opportunities and challenges, through which we have risen to the level of our possibilities.

In 2025, we saw our chapter membership fluctuate, largely due to expected and unexpected circumstances and our changing world. Nevertheless, we have sharpened our skills, clarified our intentions, and increased our impact in ways that continue to inspire and drive us. From our excellent programming with nearly 15 opportunities to earn CCEUS, to events, like our six in-person regional meet-ups, to the inner circles of our ten Affinity Groups, to our continued commitment to partnerships and DEIB, we have supported countless individuals in transforming their lives and careers. A special recognition to Jennifer Gamble and all our Affinity Group leaders and members. Thank you to those who completed our Membership Survey. The results are in this newsletter and will help guide our chapter's focus in 2026. Our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and thriving continues to reflect the heart and soul of who we are: a family of coaches making a difference in our world.

Due to the diligent stewardship of our Treasurer, Rafaael Crumbly, CPC, and our Financial Oversight Committee, our chapter is in a strong, stable financial position, enabling us to maintain healthy operating reserves.

Reflecting on the past 12 months, I have also asked myself what we could have done better. With the benefit of hindsight, it has given me the foresight to focus on making our community aware of the great work we do and who we are.

Now on a bitter- sweet note, I give special thanks to Lisa Gamble, Nancy Scott, PhD, John DeMarco, PCC, Grace Franklin, Dr. Bryan Malone, ACC, and Esther Bailey-Bass, ACC, CPCC, for your commitment to the vision and for being such an essential part of our chapter. As their terms come to an end, I have been deeply honored to walk this path of growth alongside such an extraordinary group of coaches, leaders, and change-makers.

Lastly, special thanks to our virtual assistants, Celeste Shepherd, Emily Dyer, and Ben Princehorn, for their assistance in making the chapter operate smoothly.

2026 brings great expectation as I welcome Matthew Kodsi, M.D., Ph.D., ACC, Pam Reaves, PCC, and Hannah Finrow, MCC, to the Board of Directors. I also have the distinct honor of serving another year as your president until a brave soul takes the baton. We will celebrate our 30th Anniversary in a big way, so stay tuned.

I look forward to seeing you at our Annual Meeting on December 12, and our meetups on December 18 - Memphis | Nashville

I want a peaceful, impactful, and transformative new year for all of you, filled with possibilities and shared dreams.

With gratitude and excitement,

Anna Walker, MBA, ACC | ICFTN President
