June Message from the President
Momentum, Community, and the Future of Coaching
Anna Walker, MBA, PCC | ICFTN President
As we move into the summer season, I want to celebrate the incredible momentum our chapter has built this year. Together, we have continued to create a more visible, connected, and thriving coaching community.
Over the past several months, we have offered outstanding programming that has informed, inspired, and equipped our members in meaningful ways. I am especially proud that we have offered new member benefits, maintained strong membership numbers, increased our visibility across our platforms, created new partnerships, and highlighted the success and contributions of many of our members. Celebrating one another strengthens both our chapter and the coaching profession as a whole.
As a personal investment in my growth and leadership, I attended the ICF Global Summit in Paris, France — an incredible experience that will not only deepen my own perspective, but also bring fresh insights and ideas that can benefit our chapter and members moving forward. I had the distinct honor of facilitating two roundtable discussions: Exploration of AI and Ethics, and From Fear to Possibility. More than 600 coaches from around the world gathered to explore the future of coaching through topics such as AI and coaching, neuroscience, coaching Gen Z, coaching clients over 50, and much more.
One message stood out clearly throughout the summit: coaching is needed now more than ever. While AI continues to advance, the human element of coaching remains unmatched. In fact, there is currently only one coach for every 800 people worldwide, reinforcing the growing need for professional coaches in every sector.

I’m also excited to announce that our ICFTN Coaches Conference will take place November 4–5, 2026, at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, the same wonderful venue that hosted us in 2024. We will hear from global thought leaders as well as several of our own outstanding experts in the field.
Registration is now open, so reserve your spot today. Let’s continue building community together and get excited for what’s ahead!
Thank you to our volunteers, board members, presenters, and engaged members who continue to make this chapter dynamic, supportive, and forward focused.
