New Member Spotlight: Michele Bendekovic

What is the name of your company?
Faegre Drinker
What type of coaching do you do?
Leadership/executive coaching, coaching for high performers.
What made you decide to be a coach?
Coaching has always been an integral aspect of my role, complementing my dedication to supporting my firm’s commitment to talent development through guidance, meaningful feedback, and relationship-building. In the past, coaching was often viewed as a remedial measure rather than the strategic asset it has become today. Over time, coaching has evolved into a transformative tool for attorney development, empowering individuals beyond simply addressing challenges. I am excited to be part of this evolution, creating a safe space for reflection, skill-building, and supporting attorneys as they navigate the various stages of their careers.
My entire career has been dedicated to the legal industry, which offers a truly distinctive professional environment. I am deeply motivated by the opportunity to help others grow, supporting them in achieving both their professional and personal goals.
Is there anything you would like us to know about you?
We moved to Nashville nine years ago from Pittsburgh, PA. I am very active in the Nashville community, serving as immediate past president of the board of Jazz Empowers, whose mission is to transform the lives of youth in underserved schools through jazz education. I recently joined the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. I am proud to be recognized by the Nashville Business Journal as a member of the class of 2023 Women of Influence.
