What is the name of your company?

 Streamside Coaching, LLC

Are you an independent coach or a coach within an organization?

Both! My full-time job is Director of Agile Coaching and Kaizen Facilitation at Pfizer. I also have an independent side coaching business called Streamside Coaching, LLC, where I work with private clients on topics of work-life balance and personal agility. 

What made you decide to be a coach?

About eight years ago, I was going through a difficult time in my life and I had a wonderful friend who supported me with excellent advice. I told her that when I was faced with a dilemma, I would ask myself "What would Shannon do?" She said, "What you really should be asking is 'What would Michelle do?'" This started a journey for me of listening to my own inner wisdom and developing my self-confidence. I coach because I want to help others find the same power in their own voices and surprise themselves with what they can achieve when they listen to themselves.

What is your area of interest?

Leadership agility, team coaching, and work-life balance

Is there anything you would like us to know about you?

This year I'm committed to making more space in my life to simply enjoy things and invest time in my hobbies. If you share any of my rather eclectic interests (gardening, bonsai, flamenco, poetry, and all things Italian), let's have a chat!
