President's Letter: May 2020

Fellow Coaches,

How are you? I’ve been struck over the last month by the fact that we are ALL living through the same event. Everywhere. Shared event, various impacts. Our circumstances vary, as do our opinions about what we how we should be responding individually and collectively.

Like many organizations, we may wonder as an association how this changes what we do. What new challenges face us? What opportunities are ahead? How should we be responding as a chapter in a way that continues to provide excellent value to our members?

We are continuing to offer excellent professional development but pivoting previously scheduled in-person offerings to a virtual platform. We hope you’ll join us on May 15 for our regular chapter meeting and our speaker, Edy Nash, who will share with us about how any coach can serve corporate clients. In addition, we continue to offer you online webinars, sponsored by ICFTN and other local chapters in our region.

New for ICFTN are ways for you to continue your development while creating space to interact with other coaches through our biweekly micro-learning meetings.

Finally, the number of webinars and learning opportunities out there seems endless. We want to pass along what we know about without cluttering your inbox or overwhelming you. We’re creating a repository of available offerings outside of ICFTN on our website for those of you who want to see them.

Watch your email or check the website to access the resources most helpful to you. And, as always, feel free to contact me. We’re here to serve!

All the best,

Joanna Williams, ICFTN President
