What made you decide to be a coach?
I’ve been an internal leaders coach my entire career while also serving in various leadership positions. Over the past several years I’ve been transitioning to developing a dedicated external coaching practice. Here is the formal description:
IntentQuest was founded by Roger Johnson after a 30-year career in corporate, non-profit, and athletic roles that were threaded by his passion for leadership coaching. Roger has always had the unique ability to help others navigate difficult situations, particularly in their professional careers, helping them uncover what is preventing them from achieving goals and reaching their potential.
Throughout Roger’s business career, he became adept at coaching leaders through management, career, operations, strategy, and transition-related challenges and goals. Through his own quest to find joy and fulfillment in his career, Roger embarked on an intentional journey to understand and embrace his unique leadership identity. With consistent, insightful and affirming feedback from friends, colleagues, and clients, Roger gained the clarity and confidence he needed to begin a new career as a Leadership Consultant and Coach. He is now able to do what he loves, expand his impact and work in his sweet spot.
Is there anything you would like us to know about you?
Roger is married to Julie (who works leads the marketing and communications for IntentQuest) and has four children. He lives in Franklin and serves clients locally, throughout the United States and even internationally.
Roger started IntentQuest in 2024, with the vision of helping every leader discover and own their leadership potential and begin believing in and acting like the leader they were created to be. His desire is to see his clients thrive in their careers, enjoy what they do, and make a purposeful and powerful impact. He is incredibly honored to have already worked with numerous individuals, groups, and businesses to achieve new levels of success and fulfillment.
