What made you decide to be a coach?

I have an unwavering belief in the power of creating safe and supportive spaces for a person to flourish. As a clergywoman who served in local churches for over fifteen years, I understand the power of deep listening and powerful questions. In coaching, I come alongside people who feel stuck as they discover their courage and agency in their lives. The power of coaching, for me, is in helping people step boldly into their lives so that they can show up more fully in the world for themselves and their communities.  

What is your area of interest?

My area of interest lies in walking alongside individuals in helping professions, supporting them in preventing and recovering from compassion fatigue and burnout. Having personal experience of the toll that serving people and communities can take, I find immense joy in offering coaching as a way forward. I believe coaching empowers those in vocations of service to navigate their roles with agency, courage, and a strong self of self, enabling them to serve others while prioritizing their own well being. 

Is there anything you would like us to know about you?

I love poetry and often incorporate pieces into my coaching practice as a way of beginning a session. Painting with watercolors is another creative outlet I enjoy exploring. I am an avid lover of the outdoors and can often be found on camping adventures with my family.
