The Future of Coaching: ICFTN Coach Talk

As part of our 30th anniversary celebration, and in support of International Coaching Week, join us for a dynamic 90-minute virtual session exploring the future of coaching through the lens of four experienced coaches from our community.

In this engaging format, four (4) speakers will deliver a 10-minute “ICFTN Coach Talk,” sharing insights on emerging trends, evolving practices, and innovations shaping the coaching profession. Perspectives may include new tools, shifting client needs, and how coaches are adapting their approach in a changing landscape.

The session will conclude with a live Q&A, offering you the opportunity to engage directly with speakers, deepen your understanding, and reflect on how these insights can be applied in your own coaching practice.

  • Insight into emerging trends and innovations influencing coaching

  • Awareness of how evolving practices may impact your approach

  • Ideas for adapting your coaching presence and methods

  • Practical takeaways you can apply in your coaching conversations

Come listen, reflect, and consider your own role in shaping the future of coaching.

PRO-BONO COACHING

SERVE THOSE WHO SERVED US

The transition from a military career to the private sector is a major shift for most military veterans. It can be especially challenging for those who served in the US Special Operations Forces. The Honor Foundation supports that transition. ICFTN is partnering with the Honor Program to provide pro-bono coaching for those in the upcoming cohort of The Honor Foundation. We hope you will join us in volunteering to serve as a coach. The next cohort starts in August, and they are currently accepting applications for coaches. Click on the Training and Networking button to learn more!

Offerings by our members and associates can be found on the Training and Networking page (under the Resources tab on the website). You can find opportunities for continuing education here.

CREDENTIALING

ICF Credential Spotlight: Jerry Snider, MBA

Jerry Snider, MBA

This month, I interviewed a coach who is pursuing his PCC credential as a first step into coaching through the ICF Level Two training program process. With 30 years in the automotive industry with over 20 years as an executive leading teams and projects in the US, Asia, Europe, and Mexico, Jerry realized he especially enjoyed mentoring those coming behind him in the organization. He decided it was time to step away and revisit what he wanted to do with the remainder of his working years. Interested in mentoring, teaching, and consulting, Jerry was not 100% clear how he wanted to proceed. Being someone who thinks outside the box, Jerry gave himself time to think: a solo hike of the entire 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail.
